Von der Leyen responds to EU staff letter on Israel stance - Euractiv
Source: Euractive

Europe is slowly waking up out of its slump. After 35 years of increasing the welfare state while enjoying US Inc. protection Trump came in and a single speech by his VP changed the situation forever.

We all saw the tears of European leaders followed by hilarious amount of inconsequential summits. But now, finally, we may have something from the geriatric bureaucracy of the European Union.

On Wednesday, the European Commission has published the White Paper for European Defense and the ReArm Europe Plan/Readiness 2030. No catchy abbreviation this time, but the 23-page proposal outlines geopolitical context and key strategic initiatives for the next 5 years.

Considering it’s the first consequential output from EU, it is necessary to review it as it indicates where the colossal bureaucratic machine is turning its wheels towards.

I’ve read it all so you don’t have to and today I will present a comprehensive review along with my take on how this new direction will impact key geopolitical events moving forward. I believe that this White Paper is more than just empty words so at the end of this article I will also give updates on a few prediction markets positions that are impacted the most by this proposal.

Buckle up, subscribe below and enjoy my translation of legalese into an actual action plan!
